Bradford to wear specially designed glove: St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford made all the throws during a short practice, making a fast recovery from a bruised index finger. A special glove designed to increase blood flow to the injury may have helped get him back on the field quickly. "Everyone says I look like Michael Jackson," Bradford joked Wednesday. "I'm not really sure what it does. They say it works and obviously my hand feels better, so I trust them." (The Oklahoman) Bradford last week vs Eagles went 17/30, 188 yards, 0 TDs, 0 INTs

Stoops said he would use Hosek in Saturday's big game if the others slumped. Teams are limited to 70 players on travel squads for conference games. There is no limit for non-conference games. Travis Lewis Won't Play vs FSU
Monday, September 12, 2011 / Sooners /
LB Travis Lewis still recovering from injury: Injured Oklahoma linebacker Travis Lewis left the door open Sunday night that he could return for this weekend's game at No. 5 Florida State. The senior all-conference performer, out for a month with a broken toe in his left foot, had closed that door by Monday morning. “Won't be playing this week,” Lewis said on Twitter after meeting with the team's medical staff. “Still another week away. Sorry, Sooner fans.” Coach Bob Stoops was no more optimistic Monday evening about Lewis, who has averaged 121 tackles his first three years. “He's a long way from playing,” Stoops said. “I don't expect him to play."
