Creed Humphrey

Center · Kansas City Chiefs · active · OU 2017-2020

Shawnee's two-time Super Bowl champion and All-Pro center

Creed Humphrey grew up in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where he played both center and defensive line at Shawnee High School. He was a 2017 U.S. Army All-American and decommitted from Texas A&M to stay home and play for Oklahoma.

After redshirting in 2017, Humphrey took over as the Sooners' starting center in 2018 and anchored the middle of the line through 2020. He was named the Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year in both 2019 and 2020.

The Kansas City Chiefs drafted Humphrey in the second round (63rd overall) of the 2021 NFL draft, and he quickly became one of the best centers in football. He has won two Super Bowls with the Chiefs (LVII and LVIII), earned first-team All-Pro honors in 2024 and 2025, and has made four Pro Bowls. In August 2024 he signed a four-year, $72 million extension that made the commitment official.

As of October 8, 2026, Humphrey is an active center for the Chiefs and has started every game he has played as a pro, a remarkable streak of reliability for one of Oklahoma's own.
