Aaron Ripkowski

2015 · Round 6 · Pick 206 · FB · Green Bay Packers

Aaron Ripkowski was born in Houston and played at Dayton High School in Dayton, Texas. At Oklahoma (2011–2014) he played in 47 games with 17 starts as a fullback, scoring three rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown in 2014, when he was second-team All-Big 12. Green Bay drafted him in the sixth round, 206th overall, in 2015, and his first NFL catch was an 18-yarder from Aaron Rodgers. He became the Packers' starting fullback in 2016 after John Kuhn left. That season he ran for 150 yards and two touchdowns, then scored again in a Wild Card win over the Giants. He later spent time with Kansas City (2019). His NFL totals are 163 rushing yards and two touchdowns, and he is retired. The Oklahoman wrote on January 13, 2017: "The Packers drafted Ripkowski in the sixth round of the 2015 draft."
