Bobby Evans

2019 · Round 3 · Pick 97 · OL · Los Angeles Rams

Bobby Evans Jr. was born in Allen, Texas, and played at Allen High School. At Oklahoma he was a first-team All-Big 12 offensive tackle in 2018. The Los Angeles Rams drafted him in the third round, 97th overall, in 2019, and he won Super Bowl LVI with them after the 2021 season. He made 12 starts in 35 NFL games. The Rams released him at the end of 2022, and he then had brief stints with Minnesota and Jacksonville. He signed with the XFL's Arlington Renegades in December 2023 and was named to the 2024 All-UFL team. His infobox lists no current team. Note: his Wikipedia article doesn't cover his OU career in detail, so this bio is short. Pro Football Reference has a player page for him (linked below), but its stats weren't pulled for this bio. The Oklahoman wrote on October 25, 2017: "Evans, the son of former OU basketball player Bobby Joe Evans, first started playing football when he was in second grade." Tulsa World wrote on January 9, 2019: "His older brother Tay Evans was a linebacker for the Sooners until retiring after four concussions."
