Clint Ingram
2006 · Round 3 · Pick 80 · LB · Jacksonville Jaguars
Clint Ingram was born in Hallsville, Texas, and is the nephew of former Dallas Cowboys running back Robert Newhouse. At Oklahoma he was second-team All-Big 12 in 2005, and he sealed that season's Holiday Bowl win over Oregon with an interception of Brady Leaf in the final seconds. Jacksonville drafted him in the third round, 80th overall, in 2006. He played four seasons for the Jaguars and finished with 193 tackles, 5.5 sacks, two interceptions and a defensive touchdown. New Orleans signed him in 2010, but a slow recovery from a knee injury kept him from practicing, and the Saints released him in October 2010. Like Travis Wilson, his pre-draft training was featured in the film Two Days in April. Note: his Wikipedia article has few details on his OU career, so this bio is short. Pro Football Reference has a player page for him (linked below), but its stats weren't pulled for this bio.
