Cody Ford
2019 · Round 2 · Pick 38 · OL · Buffalo Bills
Cody Ford is from Pineville, Louisiana, and played at Pineville High School. He committed to TCU before flipping to Oklahoma. A broken fibula against Ohio State ended his 2016 season after three starts. In 2018 he was a third-team All-American and first-team All-Big 12 on a line that won the Joe Moore Award as the nation's best offensive line. Buffalo drafted him in the second round, 38th overall, in 2019. In that season's Wild Card loss to Houston he was called for a controversial illegal blindside block in overtime. Buffalo traded him to Arizona in 2022, and he played for Cincinnati from 2023 to 2025. He has played 95 games with 42 starts and has no current team listed. Tidbit: when the league fined him $28,075 for that playoff block, Bills fans started a GoFundMe to help him pay it. The Oklahoman (Web Edition) wrote on April 26, 2019: "Oklahoma offensive lineman Cody Ford was selected by the Buffalo Bills with the 38 overall pick Friday in the second round of the NFL draft."
