Darryl Goodlow
1984 · Round Supplemental 2 · Pick 32 · LB · Philadelphia Eagles
Darryl D. Goodlow was born on November 2, 1960, in St. Louis and played at Maplewood-Richmond Heights High School in Missouri, according to Pro Football Reference (PFR). He played linebacker at Oklahoma, listed by PFR at 6-2 and 235 lb. PFR lists him as the Philadelphia Eagles' second-round pick, 32nd overall, in the 1984 supplemental draft. PFR shows him with the Los Angeles Raiders in 1987: 2 games, 2 starts and 1 Approximate Value, with no defensive stats table and no Pro Bowl or All-Pro honors. Conflict resolved: PFR and Wikipedia's OU draft list both say the Eagles, and OU's list says the Atlanta Falcons. Two sources agree, so this bio uses the Eagles. Note: there is no Wikipedia article on him, so this bio is short. The Oklahoman wrote on November 10, 1982: "Oklahoma head coach Barry Switzer has announced that Missouri native Weldon Ledbetter (fullback), Darryl Goodlow (defensive end), quarterback Kelly Phelps and linebacker Jerry Sanders will represent the Sooners as captains when OU hosts Missouri on Saturday."
