The Daily Oklahoman wrote on September 16, 1973 (NewsBank page 227): "Burget is believed to have suffered torn ligaments in his left leg, in which case surgery will follow." The Daily Oklahoman wrote on September 1, 1974 (NewsBank page 65): "On its second possession, the top team scored again with Burget running it in from 22 yards out."
