Jordan Evans

2017 · Round 6 · Pick 193 · LB · Cincinnati Bengals

Jordan Evans was born in Norman, Oklahoma, and played at Norman North High School. He played for the hometown Sooners from 2013 to 2016. In 2015 against West Virginia he returned a fumble 41 yards for a touchdown, and he was second-team All-Big 12 that year; Wikipedia's text says league coaches and the AP named him first-team All-Big 12 in 2016. Cincinnati drafted him in the sixth round, 193rd overall, in 2017. He played five seasons for the Bengals (2017–2021), including an October 2018 game with 11 tackles, 1.5 sacks and his first interception. He later played in the XFL for the Seattle Sea Dragons and spent time with the DC Defenders. His NFL totals are 127 tackles, 3.5 sacks and two interceptions. He is retired. The Oklahoman wrote on January 27, 2013: "The son of Scott Evans was a late bloomer." The same article says: "Until the 2011 Class 6A playoffs, Scott Evans wasn't sure his son could be a Division I football player."
