Tre Norwood

2021 · Round 7 · Pick 245 · DB · Pittsburgh Steelers

Tre Norwood is from Fort Smith, Arkansas, and attended Northside High School. He committed to Louisville in 2016, backed out in January 2017, and played at Oklahoma from 2017 to 2020. Pittsburgh drafted him in the seventh round, 245th overall, in 2021, and he played two seasons with the Steelers before they waived him in August 2023. He then had practice-squad stints with San Francisco and Buffalo, signed with the UFL's Birmingham Stallions in 2024, and is now listed with the UFL's Rhode Island Breakers. His NFL totals are 61 tackles, four pass deflections and one interception. Note: his Wikipedia article doesn't cover his OU stats or honors. Also, Wikipedia's OU draft list wrongly gives his pick as No. 137; OU's official list, his Wikipedia article and Pro Football Reference's OU draft table all say 245. The Tulsa World wrote on November 29, 2017: "Tre Norwood had only one NCAA Division I offer entering his senior year of high school." The Oklahoma Daily wrote on May 1, 2021: "Norwood was a three-star recruit and the No. 53 ranked cornerback in the nation out of high school, per Rivals."
