Kendal Daniels
Linebacker · Atlanta Falcons · active · OU 2025
Beggs' top recruit took the long way to Norman, then to Atlanta
Kendal Daniels starred at Beggs High School in Beggs, Oklahoma. He didn't even join the football team until his sophomore year, after playing basketball, and then led Beggs to back-to-back state semifinal appearances as a receiver and safety. He finished as the No. 1 recruit in the state of Oklahoma.
He signed with Texas A&M before flipping to Oklahoma State, where he played from 2021 to 2024. In Stillwater he was the 2022 Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year and a second-team All-Big 12 pick. For his final college season in 2025, Daniels came to Oklahoma and played for the Sooners.
The Atlanta Falcons selected him in the fourth round (134th overall) of the 2026 NFL draft. As of October 8, 2026, Daniels is an active linebacker for the Falcons.
His journey from small-town Beggs to the NFL, with a stop on both sides of Bedlam, makes him one of the more unique stories on the current ex-Sooner roster.
