An All-AFL guard and a 1961 AFL All-Star with the original Dallas Texans

Billy Krisher, from Midwest City, Oklahoma, was a guard on Oklahoma's 1955 and 1956 national championship teams and a consensus All-American in 1957. He played one NFL season, with Pittsburgh in 1958, before joining the Dallas Texans of the new American Football League.

He was named All-AFL in 1960, the league's first season, and was an AFL Western Division All-Star in 1961. The AFL had its own all-star game, separate from the NFL Pro Bowl, until the leagues merged. Pro-Football-Reference counts it as a Pro Bowl, and OU's Pro Bowl page also lists Krisher, so he is included here and labeled as an AFL All-Star.

Wikipedia's infobox lists him as an AFL All-Star in both 1960 and 1961, but the first AFL All-Star Game came after the 1961 season, and Pro-Football-Reference and OU list only 1961.

This is an early-era AFL selection, and sources are thin.
