Glyn Milburn

Running back / return specialist · 2 selections · retired · OU 1988 (transferred to Stanford)

A one-year Sooner who became a record-setting return man and two-time Pro Bowler

Glyn Milburn signed with Oklahoma in February 1988 after first committing to Stanford, and he played the 1988 season for the Sooners, running for 124 yards in 11 games. He then transferred to Stanford, where he became a first-team All-American in 1992.

Denver drafted him in the second round in 1993. In 1995 he set Broncos records for kickoff return yards and total return yards in a season, and on December 10, 1995, he set the NFL record for all-purpose yards in a game with 404. That season brought his first Pro Bowl and an AP second-team All-Pro nod.

His second Pro Bowl came in 1999 with the Chicago Bears, when he was named AP first-team All-Pro.

OU's Pro Bowl page doesn't include Milburn. Pro-Football-Reference counts him among Oklahoma's NFL players, and Sports-Reference lists his 1988 season at OU, so he is counted here.
