Five-star tackle with a Super Bowl ring, now in Dallas

Wanya Morris starred at Grayson High School in Loganville, Georgia, where he was a five-star offensive tackle prospect.

He began his college career at Tennessee (2019–2020), earning freshman All-SEC honors, before transferring to Oklahoma. After a backup role in his first season with the Sooners in 2021, he started eight of nine games in 2022, helping pave the way for Eric Gray's big rushing season, and earned second-team All-Big 12 honors.

The Kansas City Chiefs drafted Morris in the third round (92nd overall) of the 2023 NFL draft. As a rookie he was part of the Chiefs team that won Super Bowl LVIII. Through 2025 he played in 31 games with 15 starts, and he even caught a touchdown pass as an offensive lineman.

On June 16, 2026, the Chiefs traded Morris to the Atlanta Falcons. After roster cuts, he signed with the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad on September 1, 2026. As of October 8, 2026, Morris is on the Cowboys' practice squad, where he joins ex-Sooners CeeDee Lamb and Tyler Guyton in the Dallas building.
