Record-setting slugger with four rings and four first-team All-Americas

Tiare Jennings was born in Torrance, California, grew up in San Pedro and is of Samoan, Tokelauan, Filipino and Mexican descent. At St. Anthony High School in Long Beach she hit .710 as a senior and was named California's Gatorade Player of the Year.

Her OU debut is the stuff of legend. On February 11, 2021, against UTEP, she went 4-for-4 with three home runs in a game where the Sooners set an NCAA record with 13 homers. That season she drove in 92 runs, breaking the NCAA Division I freshman record, and was named NFCA National Freshman of the Year. At the 2022 WCWS she hit .524 and set a World Series record with 15 RBIs. Over four seasons (2021–2024) she won four national titles, made the WCWS All-Tournament Team four times and became one of only 21 players in Division I history to earn four NFCA first-team All-America honors. She finished with 98 home runs and 314 RBIs.

After a season with the Oklahoma City Spark, she joined the Texas Volts in the AUSL's inaugural 2025 draft. In 2026 she hit five home runs for the Volts. She was also named MVP of the 2025 World Games, where Team USA won gold.

As of October 8, 2026, Jennings is an infielder for the Volts.
