The Sunday night box is a 30–26 Broncos win, and it does not look like the yardage. Los Angeles had 506 yards. Denver had 264. The Rams led 16–0 at the half and still lost. Denver scored 30 points in the last 22 minutes.

Matthew Stafford threw a 5-yard touchdown to Tyler Higbee in the first quarter. Harrison Mevis kicked field goals of 36, 35, and 40 in the second, and it was 16–0. In the third, Bo Nix found Pat Bryant from 5 yards and Jaylen Waddle for the two-point conversion, then Nate Adkins from 8 and Bryant for the second two-pointer. The game was tied at 16.

Mevis made it 19–16 from 48 yards with 8:40 left, his fourth field goal. Talanoa Hufanga intercepted Stafford and returned it for a touchdown, and Denver led. Konata Mumpfield answered with a 48-yard score, and the Rams led 26–23 with 3:38 left. Nix was ruled short on a run toward the right edge, then reached the ball over the goal line with 47 seconds left. Hufanga intercepted Stafford in the end zone on the last play. Nix was 17-of-34 for 186 yards, two touchdown passes, an interception, and the winning run. Stafford was 30-of-55 for 390 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Davante Adams caught 7 passes for 137 yards. Puka Nacua did not play. The Broncos are 2–1. The Rams are 1–2.

Three Sooners were on the Denver roster. Nik Bonitto started at outside linebacker and had one solo tackle, one assist, and a sack. Ben Powers started at left guard. Marvin Mims Jr. was inactive. No Sooner was on the Rams.
