What the map assigns

Sunday’s Sooners are not on one channel. The color on your county decides whether you get Tampa, Miami, Rio, or Indianapolis.

The board says who plays. The map says who you see. CBS paints two pictures today, an early window at 1:00 and a late window at 4:25. Fox uses one map for the whole afternoon. The color on a county is the only game that station airs in that window.

The early CBS blue is Kansas City at Miami. Creed Humphrey, R Mason Thomas, James Winchester, Ethan Downs, and Jaydn Ott are the Sooners in that game. The early CBS red is Cincinnati at Pittsburgh: Orlando Brown Jr. and Samaje Perine for the Bengals, Robert Spears-Jennings for the Steelers. Orange is Houston at Indianapolis, Febechi Nwaiwu and Deion Burks. Yellow is New England at Jacksonville, Rhamondre Stevenson, Walter Rouse, and Anton Harrison. Green, Tennessee at the Giants, has no Sooner on either side.

The late CBS map is almost one color. Red is Baltimore against Dallas in Rio de Janeiro, and it covers nearly the whole country. Mark Andrews is the Ravens Sooner. CeeDee Lamb, Tyler Guyton, and Wanya Morris are the Cowboys. The blue exception is Las Vegas at New Orleans, Jonah Laulu and Danny Stutsman, and it only covers those two home markets.

Fox does not split the day into two maps. Red, green, yellow, and light blue are the 1:00 games. Yellow is Seattle at Washington, where Tress Way punts for the Commanders. Blue and orange are the 4:05 window. Blue is Minnesota at Tampa Bay: Kyler Murray and Jalen Redmond against Baker Mayfield. Orange is Arizona at San Francisco: Damonic Williams against Trent Williams, Gracen Halton, Ogbo Okoronkwo, and Brayden Willis.

Monday night is not in those windows. Jalen Hurts, Marquise Brown, and Lane Johnson take the Eagles to Chicago, where Neville Gallimore is the Bears Sooner. That game is on ABC.
