Shawnee's center: four straight Pro Bowls, all as an AFC starter
Creed Humphrey was a Pro Bowl alternate as a rookie in 2021. A year later he was in, voted the AFC's starting center for the 2022 season, his first selection. He was one of seven Chiefs selected that year. Kansas City went on to play in Super Bowl LVII, so he didn't take part in the first Pro Bowl Games.
He started again for the 2023 season. The Chiefs noted his 726 pass-blocking snaps led all centers, and Pro Football Focus rated him the league's best pass-blocking center. Once again Kansas City was busy with a Super Bowl, LVIII this time.
The 2024 season brought his third straight starting nod. His 1,112 offensive snaps led all centers, and PFF graded him the league's best overall and pass-blocking center. The Chiefs reached Super Bowl LIX, so for the third year in a row the big game came first.
His fourth selection came in 2025, a down year for Kansas City, and he was again named a starter. By then he was also a two-time first-team All-Pro (2024 and 2025).
Four straight selections, each as a starter, ties Humphrey with Orlando Brown Jr. for fifth among the 14 ex-Sooners soonersblog.com follows. He's the only one of them who plays center.
