Three Pro Bowls for the Eagles quarterback, two as a replacement
Jalen Hurts got his first Pro Bowl nod after his breakout 2022 season, when he led the Eagles to a 13–1 start. When the rosters were announced, he had 22 touchdown passes and 13 touchdown runs. NBC Sports Philadelphia noted he was the Eagles' fifth different Pro Bowl quarterback since 2009. Philadelphia went on to Super Bowl LVII, so he didn't attend the first Pro Bowl Games.
After the 2023 season he was the NFC's first alternate at quarterback. He got the call when San Francisco's Brock Purdy left for Super Bowl LVIII. That year Hurts had run for 15 touchdowns, then an NFL record for a quarterback that he shared with Josh Allen. In the flag football game he threw a 26-yard touchdown to CeeDee Lamb, a Sooner-to-Sooner connection on a Pro Bowl field.
His third selection came after the 2025 season, again as a replacement. This time he took the spot of the Rams' Matthew Stafford. He had thrown for 3,224 yards with 25 touchdowns and six interceptions and run for eight more scores.
Hurts has three selections, tied with Mark Andrews and Tress Way among the 14 ex-Sooners soonersblog.com follows.
