Tiare Jennings still hits in Texas

The four-time All-American took her 98 home runs to the Volts. The AUSL season is over. The numbers are not.

Tiare Jennings hit .412 at Oklahoma with 314 hits, 98 home runs, and 314 RBI. She is the Women’s College World Series career RBI leader. She is a four-time NFCA All-American and a four-time national champion. In 2026 she played for the Texas Volts, which is another way of saying the most decorated infielder of the Gasso era kept playing.

Rylie Boone, who hit .407 across four championships, was in the same outfield. Together they gave the Volts a Sooner battery of memory: the infield that ended WCWS games and the outfielder who ran them down. The league’s six-team map put them in Texas, put Coleman in Utah, put the pitchers in Portland, and put the Spark in Oklahoma City, as if someone had taken a four-year depth chart and dealt it across the country.

Jennings also served as a student assistant in Norman, which is the kind of double life that only makes sense if you have already done everything. The 2026 AUSL season is complete. The next one will ask the same question the last two have answered: how many Sooners is too many? The league has not found the number.
